Congratulations to the fellows of the East European Scientific Studies Centre!

A ceremonial presentation of certificates to students – fellows of the East European Scientific Studies Centre took place at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

This year, 15 university students who demonstrated high academic achievement, active civic engagement, and significant contributions to the development of the student community received scholarships through the Foundation’s scholarship program. Each scholarship is worth $1,000.

The scholarship recipients were congratulated by Valentyna Yakubiv, rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. In her speech, she emphasised that supporting talented youth is one of the university’s priorities, and that students’ participation in international scholarship programs opens new opportunities for professional growth, scientific development, and intercultural communication.

Valentyna Yakubiv noted the high level of training and active civic engagement of the fellows, emphasising that their achievements are the result of hard work, a responsible attitude toward learning, and a desire for self-improvement.

During the celebrations, it was noted that the scholarship program is an important support for talented youth and stimulates students to further professional and personal development.

We sincerely thank the founder of the Institute of Oriental Studies Foundation, Zygmund Berdychovsky, for many years of cooperation, support for student youth, and the creation of additional opportunities for the development, self-realisation, and international academic mobility of students of our university.

In addition to financial support, scholarship program winners have the opportunity to participate in international forums, conferences, educational projects, and other events organised by the Foundation. This contributes to expanding young people’s professional horizons, establishing international contacts, and strengthening the Ukrainian-Polish partnership.

We want to remind you that students of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University can participate in the scholarship program under the bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the Foundation of the Institute of Oriental Studies and the university, signed on June 12, 2018.
