Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University took 9th place in the ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine according to the results of accreditation examinations for 2019–2025, published on June 16 by the Centre for International Projects “Euroosvita” (https://euroosvita.net/?p=192).
The rating was formed based on the results of accreditations of educational programs conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. In the new rating, the university received a rating index of Ra = 0.33846 and ranked among the top 10 higher education institutions in the country, alongside leading universities in Ukraine. According to the study, KNUVD has one of the largest indicators of accredited educational programs in Ukraine – 218 accreditations for 2019-2025, which became a strong basis for a high position in the rating.
Behind the high rating figures is the titanic work of the entire university community. Two hundred and eighteen successfully passed accreditations are the result of many years of systematic work of scientific and pedagogical staff, guarantors of educational programs, heads of structural divisions, students and the university administration. It is especially indicative that the Euroeducation rating is based not only on formal indicators of educational activity.
During accreditation examinations, the quality of educational programs, the results of scientific and innovative activities, international cooperation, academic mobility, the potential of human resources, educational and methodological support, and the effectiveness of the internal education quality assurance system are assessed. That is why such ratings are considered one of the most comprehensive tools for assessing the activities of Ukrainian universities.
The entry of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University into the top ten of the ranking is a significant confirmation of the high quality of education, the effective work of the scientific and pedagogical staff, and the guarantee of the quality of educational programs, structural divisions, and the entire university community.
This result testifies to the consistent development of the university, the successful implementation of modern approaches to ensuring the quality of higher education, and the strengthening of its position among the leading higher education institutions in Ukraine.
We congratulate the teachers, staff, students, and graduates on another achievement of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University and thank the entire university community for their professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to the development of high-quality Ukrainian education.
