VSCNU and State Property Fund of Ukraine Forge Strategic Partnership to Train Next-Gen Specialists

Today, the rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, met with the head of the regional branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine for Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Ternopil regions, Volodymyr Solonyna.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The discussion was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Socio-Economic Development Volodymyra Boychuk and the Head of the Stakeholder Engagement Department Arsen Kyzym.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to establish effective cooperation between the parties to develop and implement joint initiatives aimed at improving the level of professional training of future specialists.

The document provides for the implementation of cooperation in a number of key areas, in particular:

— sending university students to undergo educational and industrial practice at the regional branch of the SPFU;

— participation of scientists and university teachers in discussing current issues in the field of privatization, lease, use and alienation of state property, as well as developing joint recommendations for improving legislation and attracting effective owners and investors;

— internship of scientific and pedagogical workers in the regional branch of the SPFU;

— organization and holding of joint events — conferences, seminars, meetings, round tables — in areas of mutual interest;

— cooperation within the framework of implementing research projects and preparing joint scientific publications;

— participation in the development of draft regulatory legal acts in the field of real estate and property valuation;

— implementation of other agreed areas of cooperation.
