The rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, as part of the Ukrainian delegation, visited educational and scientific institutions in Tartu, Estonia.
At the University of Tartu and the Estonian University of Life Sciences, the delegation members spoke with the rectors about university autonomy and the specific challenges of managing higher education institutions. They also discussed the prospects for academic mobility, joint research, and participation in grant programs.
During the visit to the Estonian Research Council, special attention was paid to the development of grant activities and joint research projects. For Carpathian University, this is an opportunity to expand international cooperation and open new prospects for scientists.
We thank the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for organising this important initiative, which contributes to the exchange of management experience and strengthening cooperation between universities in Ukraine and Estonia.
