Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University hosted a Parents’ Forum — a meeting with parents of future students dedicated to current issues in choosing a profession, the quality of education, safety, and prospects after graduation.
The participants were welcomed by the university’s rector, Valentyna Yakubiv, who emphasised the importance of trust and partnership among the university, students, and their families.
During the event, the challenges of professional self-determination in the face of labour-market changes, the role of the university in supporting students, and the responsibility of a higher education institution to the families of entrants were discussed.
University representatives answered parents’ questions about the organisation of the educational process, living conditions, actions in crises, international opportunities, tuition fees, internships, and further employment.
The Parents’ Forum program included thematic discussion blocks dedicated to choosing a profession, supporting students, and collaborating with employers.
The final stage was a presentation of the faculties and educational programs, during which participants received consultations from university representatives and the admissions committee.
The Parents’ Forum became another step for the university towards open dialogue, transparent communication, and partnership with the families of future students.
