18 листопада 2025 року студенти магістратури кафедри англійської філології склали підсумковий екзамен з конференц перекладу в мовних комбінаціях англійська–українська та українська–англійська.
Екзаменаційна комісія складалася з двох викладачів кафедри та зовнішнього екзаменатора з Генерального директорату з логістики та перекладу конференцій (DG LINC) Європейського парламенту, що забезпечило об’єктивність, професійну неупередженість та високі стандарти оцінювання.
Під час іспиту студенти продемонстрували свої навички конференц перекладу та отримали детальний, конструктивний зворотний зв’язок від екзаменаторів. Виконання оцінювалося відповідно до критеріїв, що застосовуються в інституціях ЄС, з урахуванням точності, повноти передачі змісту, якості подачі, володіння термінологією та ефективності вирішення перекладацьких завдань.
Екзамен вкотре підкреслив важливість тривалої співпраці між університетом та Європейським парламентом. Регулярна взаємодія з експертами DG LINC, зокрема у формі педагогічної підтримки, участі в екзаменах та навчальних заняттях, відіграє ключову роль у підтриманні високих стандартів підготовки та готовності студентів до вимог міжнародної професійної спільноти. On November 18, 2025, master’s students of the Department of English Philology completed their final conference interpreting examination, working in the language combinations English–Ukrainian and Ukrainian–English.
The examination committee consisted of two faculty members of the university and an external examiner from the Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) of the European Parliament, Anastassiia Koka, ensuring an impartial and professionally grounded assessment process.
During the exam, students delivered simultaneous interpreting of real-life speeches on subjects relevant to the current global context. Following the examination, they received detailed, constructive feedback from all examiners. Their performance was assessed against the evaluation criteria employed by EU institutions, focusing on accuracy, message integrity, delivery, technique, terminology, and problem-solving strategies.
This examination not only marked an important academic milestone for the students, but also served as a valuable opportunity to benchmark their progress against European professional standards in conference interpreting. The examination once again highlighted the value of the ongoing cooperation between the university and the European Parliament. Regular interaction with DG LINC experts, including examination support and pedagogical assistance, plays an important role in maintaining high training standards and ensuring that students are prepared for the demands of the international interpreting profession.
