
Today, January 14, the seminar “University 2030: Development Models, Challenges for Quality Assurance Systems” ended at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, during which the presentation of the analytical publication “Innovative University and Leadership” (2024–2025) took place.
The event brought together scientists, managers, and experts in educational policy for a professional discussion of strategic directions for university development, transformational processes in the higher education system, and the role of leadership in the face of modern challenges.
The second day of discussions was opened by Valentyna Yakubiv, rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, and Taras Finikov, candidate of historical sciences, president of the ICF “International Foundation for Educational Policy Research”, coordinator of the Polish-Ukrainian project “Innovative University and Leadership”, professor at the University of Warsaw, member of the Supervisory Board of the KNUVS.
As part of the seminar, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Kyiv Aviation Institute, Larysa Shaulska, spoke about the mission and strategy of the university of the future, the variability of development models, academic policy, and management decisions.
The issues of integrating universities into the global professional and scientific environment, developing international cooperation, and increasing the global visibility of higher education institutions were highlighted by Tetyana Stepura, a Doctor of Economics and Professor at the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Special attention was paid to the financial component of higher education institutions. Volodymyr Stefinin, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Associate Professor at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, delivered a report entitled “University Financing. Diversification. Transparency. Sustainability”.
The multidisciplinary seminar “University 2030: Development Models, Challenges for Quality Assurance Systems” serves as a platform for exchanging experiences, developing strategic approaches, and forming a shared vision for the long-term development of universities.
