Before the next meeting of the rectorate of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, an event combining spiritual values, the academic community, and modern university life traditionally took place. Father Josaphat, rector of the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius of the UGCC, visited the university and led a joint prayer. The prayer marked the symbolic beginning of the new calendar year for the university community and served as a sign of unity among teachers, scientists, and employees of the institution.
Those present prayed for God’s blessing on the university, for the successful development of science and education, for wisdom in decision-making, and for harmony in the team.
Father Josaphat addressed the participants with a spiritual word and consecrated the university employees, emphasising the importance of spiritual support in professional activities and daily life.
University Rector Valentyna Yakubiv sincerely thanked Father Josaphat for his prayers and constant spiritual support, emphasising that such meetings contribute to the unity of the university family, inspire responsible work and the joint achievement of new goals.
The preservation of this tradition testifies to the university’s desire to harmoniously combine educational and scientific progress with moral and spiritual values. It unites the team, strengthens mutual understanding, and adds confidence on the path to new achievements.
