The first strategic session took place, which launched a new stage of planning the university’s development for 2026

The first strategic session was held at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, marking the launch of a new stage in planning the university’s development for 2026.

At the beginning of the work, Dmytro Romanyuk, the Head of the Supervisory Board, addressed the administration team with a welcoming speech. He outlined key guidelines and tasks for the near future, focusing on strengthening management processes, adopting modern approaches to strategy, and enhancing the effectiveness of each unit.

Rector Valentyna Yakubiv emphasised the core values and principles of teamwork that should underlie our strategic development: trust, responsibility, openness, respect, professionalism, and a results-oriented approach. These principles will determine the style of interaction in the team and the quality of implementation of joint decisions.

Under the coordination of Taras Malyshivsky, the head of the strategic development working group, the vice-rectors worked on defining key performance indicators (KPIs), forming expected results, and identifying responsible executives. This will ensure a clear system of goal management and increase responsibility for their achievement.

The strategic session was a crucial step in establishing priorities that will guide the university’s development in 2026 and the medium term.

Let’s work together for a strong, modern, and competitive university!
