
Today, Valentyna Yakubiv, the rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, visited the Campus youth space, which operates in the university’s dormitory No. 5. The space was created as a modern platform for supporting student initiatives, developing non-formal education, and implementing creative and social projects of youth.
During the visit, the rector held a meeting with the trade union committee of students and postgraduates, headed by chairman Ivan Khomyak.
In a constructive conversation, the participants discussed current issues of student life, opportunities for expanding support for student projects, improving dormitory infrastructure, and creating additional educational and cultural opportunities for young people.
Students shared their own ideas for Campus development, including proposals for conducting thematic trainings, educational lectures, master classes, and events aimed at developing leadership competencies and strengthening student self-government.
The youth also expressed gratitude for the support of the university administration and emphasized the importance of such meetings for forming an open dialogue.
The rector noted the importance of the student space as a platform where new initiatives, ideological leaders, and projects that change the university environment are born. She emphasized that the university will continue to support young people in realizing their dreams and create conditions for the most comfortable and meaningful student life.
