
Advanced training courses for scientific and pedagogical workers who provide training for students in institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education on the topic “Integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process: from theory to practice” have been completed within the framework of the implementation of the “Regulations on the Policy of Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies” (Order of the Acting Rector of the KNUVD dated September 15, 2025 No. 820), which were held at the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem” from October 27 to November 3, 2025. Fifty-five participants were involved in the courses in a distance format, most of whom are teachers of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
The training presented innovative digital tools and resources for utilising artificial intelligence in scientific, professional, and pedagogical contexts. The course program provides for the improvement of innovative, information and communication and media and digital competencies in terms of the ability to: analyze opportunities, challenges and ethical aspects of the use of AI in education ( Professor Olena Budnyk ); formulate effective queries for AI tools (prompt engineering) in order to create and adapt educational content ( Associate Professor Viktoriya Gnezdilova ); integrate the basics of media and infomedia literacy with the use of AI into the educational process ( Professor Inna Chervinska ); apply modern digital services for scientific search, analysis of publications and work with texts ( Professor Tetyana Kachak ), design educational courses using AI to optimize the educational process ( Associate Professor Kateryna Fomin ); create and adapt multimedia educational content using generative AI tools and gaming technologies ( Associate Professor Tetyana Mykytyn ); personalize learning using AI to individualize students’ educational trajectories ( Associate Professor Tetyana Blyznyuk ); implement AI in distance and blended learning of education seekers for progress monitoring, automatic assessment, and formative feedback ( PhD student Oleksandr Vetoshkin ), etc.
All participants will receive Certificates of Advanced Training, totalling 30 academic hours (1.0 ECTS credit), in accordance with the course program.
