The first vice-rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, took part in the “Conversation with the Rector” as part of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program, which was held at Mariupol State University.
During the meeting, key challenges in the higher education system of Ukraine, issues of management risks, as well as the role of leadership skills and responsibility in the development of a modern university were discussed.
The Academic Managers Professional Development Program is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, implemented by the British Council within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”.
Such initiatives contribute to the formation of a new management culture focused on effective leadership, strategic thinking, and the development of the university community.
