Representatives of the KNUVD participated in the Western Ukrainian Business Forum

The Western Ukrainian Business Forum was held in Ivano-Frankivsk, a powerful platform for dialogue between business, government, investors, and the educational community. The event brought together a large number of participants to discuss key trends in economic development, innovation, and international cooperation.

Representatives of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, led by First Vice-Rector Valentyna Yakubiv, joined the forum: they listened to reports from leading experts and business leaders, got acquainted with new ideas, and established communication with the event participants.

The forum program included four discussion panels:

• “From local to global: the path of Ukrainian companies to international recognition”

• “The Future of Business: Human Capital and Talent”

• “Resilience and Development in Times of War”

• “Strong industry is a driver of economic growth.”

The conversation with the forum’s keynote speaker, Konstantin Yefimenko, owner and president of the Biopharma corporation, was also interesting.

A cross-cutting topic of discussion was the issue of training qualified personnel, developing quality education, and effective management of human capital as an important prerequisite for business sustainability in wartime.

In this context, the forum is an example of the practical implementation of cooperation between education, science, and business, which is a key factor in the innovative development of society and the economy.

The university’s participation in such events opens up new opportunities for expanding partnerships, exchanging experiences, and integrating the academic community into modern economic discourse.
