
The educational and psychological-pedagogical work training laboratory has launched a series of online webinars on combat tactical medicine.
The events will continue in accordance with Order No. 104-r of April 17, 2026, “On conducting educational webinars with first-year students” in all educational structural divisions of the university during April – May 2026.
Thematic content for students is presented by combat medics – servicemen of the Guard Service of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the NSU.
The initiative is implemented within the framework of the Program of socio-cultural interaction with military personnel in the educational activities of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. Employees of the educational laboratory serve as moderators for educational, psychological, and pedagogical work.
In particular, on April 20, 2026, a session on the topic “General Characteristics of Combat and Tactical Medicine” was held for students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. During the webinar, participants learned about the basics of combat and tactical medicine, its features and importance in the conditions of the war with the Russian Federation, as well as types of medical care during hostilities and after terrorist attacks against the civilian population of Ukraine.
The class was conducted by a serviceman of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov”, combat medic Igor Semenchenko, using a meaningful informational presentation.
In the final part of the event, the speaker answered students’ questions about how to assist a person in shock and how to create a home first-aid kit.
The event was attended by 10 students of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering and curators of academic groups.
