
As part of the RIFF Study Visit, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Activities of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Liliya Turovska, participated in a meeting with the Rector of Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), Martin Bareš.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current challenges faced by Ukrainian higher education and scientific institutions in wartime and outlined the prospects for further cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the development of research infrastructure, support for scientific activities, expansion of international cooperation, and the study of successful European practices in organising the research process.
They also became acquainted with Masaryk University’s research infrastructure, in particular its facilities in the field of biomedicine. This provided an opportunity to study in more detail European approaches to the organisation, financing, and effective use of research infrastructure to ensure a high level of scientific research, as well as the prospects for further cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the development of research infrastructure, support for scientific activities, expansion of international cooperation, and the study of successful European practices in organising the research process.
