
A working meeting was held between the rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, and Nicolas Lignol, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Coordinator of International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law of the University of Paris-Est Créteil.
During the meeting, the parties identified key areas of cooperation, including participation in joint scientific and innovative projects, development of academic mobility of students, postgraduates, scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff, as well as preparation and holding of joint scientific and practical events.
Nicolas Lignol is a lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal and accredited to the International Criminal Court. He represents victims of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
For four years, Mr. Lignol has been actively participating in thematic scientific conferences organized by the University’s Educational and Scientific Law Institute.
The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Natalia Yatskiv, and the Director of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute, Yuriy Mykytyn, also participated in the discussion of further steps in cooperation.
