Science in Action: Annual Reporting Conference Kicks Off at VSCNU

On March 30, a reporting scientific conference of teachers, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, and university students based on the results of 2025 began at  Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

As part of the conference, a university-wide plenary session was held today, bringing together the institution’s scientific and pedagogical community to discuss current issues in the development of science, education, and interdisciplinary cooperation.

During the plenary session, several substantive reports were presented, covering topical issues in public administration and economic development.

In particular, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor of the Department of Therapy, Rehabilitation and Morphology Mykola Stovban, in his report “Improving the Mechanism of Public Administration of a Hospital District through an Effective System of Interaction of Healthcare Institutions,” focused on coordination problems among medical institutions. The speaker analysed the existing model of functioning of hospital districts, outlined key challenges – in particular, uneven distribution of resources, insufficient communication between levels of medical care, and the need for digitalisation of management processes.

Particular attention was paid to ways to increase the efficiency of interaction between healthcare institutions, in particular through the introduction of modern management tools and strengthening the role of local government.

Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing, Taras Sus, in his report “Financing Innovative Development of the Agricultural Sector”, highlighted the key sources of investment in the agricultural sector and emphasised the need to stimulate innovative activity. The speech discussed the role of state support, attracting private capital, and international financial instruments in the development of the agricultural sector.

The speaker emphasised the importance of introducing the latest technologies, increasing resource efficiency, and creating a favourable investment climate to ensure the sustainable development of the industry.

The annual scientific conference has become an important platform for presenting research results, exchanging scientific ideas, and developing new approaches to solving current social and economic challenges.

From March 31 to April 1, plenary sessions of sections in educational units will continue.

April 2 — sectional meetings with the participation of students.

April 3 — final meeting of section leaders.
