
At Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, a series of educational and informational webinars for higher education students is underway, involving the lecturer resource of military personnel from the famous Azov unit.
In accordance with the rector’s order, the initiators, coordinators, and organisers of events in educational structural units are employees of the educational laboratory for educational, psychological, and pedagogical work.
The goal of the initiative is to strengthen the position of patriotic citizens capable of defending Ukraine; to foster reasoned beliefs, critical thinking, and psychological resilience among higher education applicants, regardless of their chosen speciality.
The dialogue with the students was conducted by a serviceman of the Guard Service of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine, Junior Sergeant Ihor Semenchenko. During March 17–19, 2026, four events were held for 277 students with the participation of deputies for educational work and curators of academic groups.
The topics of the meetings aroused considerable interest and lively discussion among students and teachers of various departments:
— Faculty of Foreign Languages — “Information War of the Russian Federation: Scale of Threat and Prevention of Sabotage in Media and Social Networks”;
— Educational and Scientific Law Institute — “Update of Information Security in Social Networks in Conditions of War”;
— Faculty of Economics — “Modern Hybrid War: Challenges, Dangers and Update of Ukraine’s Resources in the Confrontation”;
— Faculty of Physical Education and Sports — “Challenges of Information War: Security Rules.”
The student audience highly appreciated the content of the events, the format of their holding, meaningful answers to questions, and the positive atmosphere of communication.
