Stefanyk Info Day: space for choosing a future profession

Today, January 15, the Stefanyk Info Day was held at  Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University – an event for our future students with the participation of the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The meeting became a lively space of communication, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about educational programs, opportunities for academic mobility, professional development, and career launches. Applicants spoke with teachers, guarantors of educational programs, and representatives of the faculties, and also felt the university’s atmosphere.

The university rector, Valentyna Yakubiv, delivered a welcoming speech to the audience. She emphasised the importance of a conscious professional choice and the role of the university as a space of opportunities, development, and self-realisation for young people. She wished the applicants inspiration, faith in their own strengths, openness to new knowledge and perseverance in achieving their dream profession, emphasising that it is an active position and a conscious choice that determines a prosperous future.

Stefanyk Info Day presented educational programs that develop modern business solutions and management strategies, highlighted the possibilities of studying foreign languages as a key to international education and career, and emphasised the role of philological education in developing thinking, argumentation, and the culture of speech.

The event was moderated by Galyna Voloshchuk, Director of the Educational and Scientific Centre for Professional Career and Lifelong Education, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Department of Philology at the Kolomyia Educational and Scientific Institute, ensuring a dynamic and interactive format for the meeting.

The participants of the event also joined the interactive part: representatives of the centre, Iryna Vorobets and Maryana Danyliuk, led an educational quiz about the university, during which the most active participants received valuable gifts.

The details and conditions of admission to the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University were discussed by the Deputy Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Nelya Dolynko.

Stefanyk Info Day became an essential step for future students on the path to a conscious choice of profession and confirmed the university’s openness to dialogue with young people.
