Today, a meeting took place between the rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, and the head of the Society of Ukrainians in Iceland, Lyubomyra Petruk.
The parties signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing educational, scientific and professional interaction.
The main goal of the partnership is to create favorable conditions for the development of tourism and the hotel and restaurant business, as well as to increase the competitiveness of university students and graduates in the international labor market.
The agreement provides for: promoting the effective use of the labor potential of young people; supporting professional orientation and professional training of students; organizing and conducting joint scientific and practical, educational, informational and communicative events; providing opportunities for internships for students; exchanging experience between partners.
The signing of the agreement opens up new prospects for the development of international cooperation of the university, expanding educational opportunities, and integrating students into the global professional space.
