Strategic session dedicated to the further development of the university environment

Another strategic session with student participation was held at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, dedicated to reflecting on the university’s further development and improving the quality of the student experience.

The meeting was held in an interactive format: participants worked in teams, discussed, and jointly formed a vision of the changes most relevant to the university community. Special emphasis was placed on the practicality and realism of the proposed solutions in the university environment.

The event was moderated by Taras Malyshivsky, a lecturer at the Department of Management and Business Administration, who coordinated the groups’ work and helped structure the ideas developed.

During the session, students again used the SWOT analysis tool, which enabled them to more deeply reflect on the university’s key strengths, identify areas for improvement, and outline promising opportunities and potential risks.

During the discussion, participants formulated specific proposals to develop the educational environment, activate student initiatives, and improve communication between students and teachers.

Considerable attention was also paid to issues of student involvement in university processes.

A separate block was devoted to the character method: students outlined the features of a modern teacher who not only transfers knowledge but also serves as a partner in the educational process, supports dialogue, and fosters a trusting atmosphere.

The holding of this session confirmed the high level of student interest in the university’s development and their willingness to be active participants in change.

The results achieved will be an important contribution to the further formation of the university’s development strategy.
