
As part of the working visit of the delegation of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University to the Republic of Poland, the Chairman of the Academic Council of the university, Ihor Tsependa, and the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Volodymyr Velikochy, held working meetings with the rectors of the Universities of Lublin and Rzeszów.
In particular, a meeting was held with the rector of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie University of Lublin, Radosław Dobrowołski, and the vice-rector, Dorota Kolodynska.
During the conversation, the parties discussed expanding student mobility within the Erasmus+ program, implementing double-degree programs, and developing joint scientific and educational projects.
The Carpathian University delegation also met with the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich. The universities are united by many years of academic cooperation and stable partnership relations.
In particular, the bachelor’s double degree program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics is being successfully implemented, and cooperation in the field of natural sciences is also ongoing.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the further development of the academic partnership, new opportunities for students and scientists, and the prospects for the resumption of double-degree programs at the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
Separately, the possible accession of the University of Rzeszów to the Collegium Carpaticum academic network was raised. The working meetings confirmed mutual interest in deepening Ukrainian-Polish academic cooperation and implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives.
